Vice President, Data Architect Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Data Architect to shape and evolve its data architecture strategy and improve consistency, scalability, and decision-making across trading applications. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models; defining data flows, architecture standards, and strategies; and maintaining data dictionaries and glossaries. The role also involves partnering with engineering teams to align architecture with implementation across trade capture and post-trade systems, while advising senior stakeholders and managing design issues, risks, and controls. The successful candidate will help drive adoption of unified data models and continuous improvement across complex environments. Candidates should bring investment banking and financial markets expertise, including a strong understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycles, market structures, and front-to-back data flows. They should have proven experience leading enterprise data modeling and architecture, with deep capability in data-flow design, logical and physical modeling, and translating requirements into scalable solutions. Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills are essential, along with strategic thinking, business acumen, and experience guiding technical direction. The role also calls for sound judgment in risk management, governance, and control practices.
