Vice President, Project Executive Greater San Francisco, CA Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Project Executive to lead the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects from pursuit through closeout. The role oversees strategic and operational planning, estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, project performance, and profit-and-loss accountability, while serving as the primary client contact. Responsibilities include guiding preconstruction and design planning, managing schedules, site logistics, subcontractors, risk, and forecasting, and ensuring strong safety and quality practices. The executive also leads workforce planning, develops and mentors teams, and works with senior leaders and external stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectives. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent experience, along with at least 17 years of relevant experience. They must demonstrate a sustained record of client satisfaction, on-time delivery, meeting or exceeding profit targets, fostering safety and quality cultures, and developing successful teams. Expertise in construction leadership, client and commercial management, risk, forecasting, subcontractor oversight, and construction documentation is important. Familiarity with project management, design, scheduling, and construction information tools, as well as relevant industry certifications, is preferred.
