Interim Vice President, Imaging Services Greater San Jose, CA Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Imaging Services to provide enterprise-wide strategic, operational, and financial leadership for diagnostic imaging. The role will set and execute long-term strategy, guide service growth, and ensure high-quality, safe, accessible, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities include managing operating and capital budgets, planning for equipment and facilities, improving productivity, and overseeing imaging technology and information systems. The Vice President will build and develop a high-performing leadership team, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with clinical and executive stakeholders to advance organizational priorities. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a relevant discipline; a PhD or MD is also acceptable. At least 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in imaging services, healthcare operations, or a related clinical environment is required, including executive-level responsibility for strategy, finance, operations, and multidisciplinary teams. Applicants should bring strong expertise in strategic planning, financial and capital management, diagnostic imaging operations, and healthcare regulations and accreditation. Exceptional decision-making, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to influence system-wide initiatives and work effectively with physicians, faculty, and senior leaders.
