Dean of the College of Community & Public Affairs

The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Community and Public Affairs. The successful candidate will be the chief academic and administrative officer, responsible for providing leadership in academic programs, faculty affairs, budgeting, student success, research, community engagement, fundraising, and strategic planning. This role is pivotal in advancing the College's mission and impact, particularly in the areas of social justice, community engagement, and applied scholarship. The Dean will be expected to build a cohesive, diverse, and inclusive College-wide culture, strengthen research infrastructure, enhance interdisciplinary collaboration, expand philanthropic support, and deepen community partnerships. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished academic leader with a strong record in strategic vision, collaborative leadership, research, scholarship, and fundraising, and must be committed to shared governance and the values of the College. The Dean will inherit a College with significant momentum, including substantial growth in graduate enrollment and expanding research activity. They will work closely with faculty, staff, students, and community partners to define priorities that strengthen the College's identity and its role as a leader in professional education, applied research, and civic engagement. The role requires an exceptional communicator who can effectively elevate the College's visibility and communicate the impact of its programs. The Dean will also be tasked with creating a comprehensive and inclusive strategic vision that aligns with the College's strengths and aspirations, in line with the recently adopted university-wide strategic plan.
