Executive Director, Legal

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for a Legal role within its global business. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advisory, regulatory, and documentation support to the company's core businesses, which include fund administration, registrar and transfer agent, investor AML services, banking, custody, trustee, and regulatory reporting. This role involves managing legal and regulatory matters across key jurisdictions, responding to legal queries from various internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating with external legal counsel as needed. The Executive Director will also be involved in managing projects, new business initiatives, and the creation of legal precedents. Applicants must be qualified lawyers with 7-10 years' post-qualification experience and a valid practicing certificate in England and Wales or New York. Experience in an in-house legal role, particularly with a bank, fund manager, or fund service provider, is highly desirable. The role requires the ability to manage timelines, review and draft legal documents, negotiate agreements, and ensure that legal risks are understood and mitigated. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal and regulatory compliance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, global environment.
