Vice President, Core Legal Counsel Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Core Legal Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support across the APAC region, with a specific focus on vendor contracting and outsourcing matters. This role involves leading and supporting the drafting, review, and negotiation of various vendor agreements, including those related to technology, outsourcing, cloud services, and professional services. The Vice President will also be involved in inter-affiliate agreements, ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards, and providing legal advice on a range of employment and regulatory compliance issues. Applicants must have at least 7 years' of post-qualification experience, with a proven track record in leading and negotiating complex vendor and inter-affiliate agreements. Experience in commercial contracting, particularly in the areas of vendor technology outsourcing and professional services, is essential. The role requires a candidate with strong stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills, who can work collaboratively across multiple jurisdictions. A qualified lawyer with a current practicing certificate or eligibility to practice, and relevant postgraduate qualifications, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and financial services regulation, with the ability to provide sound legal advice and manage legal risks effectively.
