Managing Director, Global Corporate Banking, Subsidiary Banking, Greater China Desk Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking a senior banker for its Greater China Desk, who will be instrumental in leading the Intra-Asia Subsidiary Banking franchise. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of the Greater China corporate client business across the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on deepening relationships with leading Greater China corporates as they expand their business and financial activities. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 10 years' of corporate banking experience, including a strong background in cross-border corporate banking, capital allocation, and risk management. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the institutional banking product suite and be adept at identifying and capitalizing on client opportunities arising from the regional and global expansion of Chinese corporates. Key responsibilities for this position include leading the Greater China Intra-Asia growth strategy, driving senior client coverage and origination, and providing franchise leadership. The role demands a leader who can combine strong senior-client connectivity in Greater China with a strategic approach to client management, and who is capable of shaping the strategic direction of the franchise. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, be proficient in Mandarin, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience in coordinating complex, multi-product, and multi-country opportunities, as well as a proven track record in relationship management and origination, are essential. The candidate should also be adept at influencing and coordinating across internal stakeholders and client teams, and have a strong commercial judgment with the ability to align opportunities to risk appetite and controls.
