Vice President, Data Analytics, Group Wholesale Banking Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking a VP, Data Analytics for Group Wholesale Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end build and evolution of enterprise-scale data platforms, including datamarts and analytics layers. This role involves close collaboration with technology and delivery partners to ensure data modeling standards, transformation logic, and engineering patterns are in place for scalability, performance, and consistency. The VP will also work with data analysts, business stakeholders, and data governance teams to enable self-service analytics and support advanced analytics initiatives. Governance, risk, and regulatory readiness are key aspects of the role, as is the contribution to raising engineering standards and good data practices within the team. Applicants must have 8-12+ years' of experience in data engineering, data platform, or analytics engineering roles, preferably within banking or large regulated environments. Essential qualifications include hands-on experience in enterprise-scale data platform implementations, strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and performance optimization concepts. Experience in multi-stakeholder delivery environments and a strong preference for exposure to wholesale banking, credit, trade, liquidity, risk, or finance data domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, be delivery-oriented, and possess a methodical approach. They should be comfortable in both business discussions and technical work, and be a clear, practical communicator with a strong ethics and governance mindset.
