Vice President, Tech Lead, Enterprise GenAI Platform, Data Platform, Group Technology Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking a Tech Lead for its Data Platform team, which is responsible for the enterprise Generative AI capabilities and cloud data infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead the architecture, delivery, and operation of GenAI services on Google Cloud, including knowledge search, retrieval-augmented generation, and conversational assistants. This role demands a hands-on approach to AI engineering, as well as expertise in cloud architecture, security, networking design, and financial management. The Tech Lead will also be tasked with providing senior technical leadership across the platform's data engineering estate, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the platform's compliance with security and governance standards. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, and a minimum of 10 years of technology experience, with at least 3 years in the banking or financial services industry. A Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect credential is required. The role requires strong GCP security and networking expertise, a solid understanding of LLM cost and capacity management, and experience in delivering AI solutions in highly restricted environments. Proficiency in Python, experience with CI/CD tooling, and a background in data engineering with distributed processing frameworks are essential. Experience in building conversational AI, on-premise to cloud migration of big data platforms, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to work proactively in an evolving GenAI governance landscape.
