Interim Head of Finance Greater Southampton, United Kingdom Area

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to provide strategic and operational leadership for its finance function. Responsibilities include setting the department’s direction and developing team capability, providing decision-focused financial insight to senior leaders and the board, and leading business planning and budgeting. The role also oversees financial governance, statutory reporting, audits, tax requirements, and compliance with accounting standards. The Head of Finance will support effective decision-making and the organization’s long-term financial sustainability. Candidates should be fully qualified accountants with a current professional membership and substantial post-qualification experience in senior finance leadership with organization-wide responsibility. Strong expertise in project and statutory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, cash-flow management, financial controls, and risk management is required. Applicants should have experience leading and developing finance teams, advising senior stakeholders, and presenting financial performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities at leadership or board level. Experience with complex or regulated contracts, major-project financial oversight, and UK or international statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance is desirable.
