Head of Communications & Public Affairs

The Company is seeking a Head of Communications & Public Affairs to shape its communications and stakeholder engagement in a complex, politically sensitive environment. The role will develop stakeholder strategy and the organization’s narrative, lead external communications and media relations, and establish effective internal communications, issues management, and crisis response. The successful candidate will advise senior leadership on stakeholder dialogue and provide sound judgment on messaging, timing, channels, and spokespeople. This is a strategic, hands-on position that also involves building relationships across stakeholder groups and coordinating communications resources. Candidates should bring senior experience in public affairs, corporate communications, or external affairs, ideally in a regulated or politically influenced sector. They should have advised senior executives or boards, managed complex stakeholder relationships, and demonstrated expertise in media relations, issues management, and crisis communications. Experience building a function, team, or governance structure is important, along with strong business understanding and knowledge of Swedish political and regulatory processes. A relevant academic background and excellent spoken and written Swedish and English are required.
