Head of Design for Processing & Conveying Technology

The Company is seeking a Head of Design for Processing and Conveying Technology to lead and develop an international design team of approximately 35 employees and team leaders. Responsibilities include overseeing mechanical and hydraulic machine systems, defining platforms and development roadmaps, and ensuring designs are economical, manufacturable, and high quality. The role promotes standardization, modularization, and continuous improvement, while collaborating closely with purchasing, manufacturing, service, and project teams. The successful candidate will also guide technical decisions and support the professional development of team members. Candidates should have a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical qualification, along with several years of experience developing machines or plants, ideally in systems engineering. Prior technical or disciplinary leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to develop teams and talent are required. Applicants should be proficient with modern CAD systems and knowledgeable about technical development processes. A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach, strong communication skills, initiative, fluent written and spoken English, and willingness to travel internationally are also expected.
