Vice President, Compliance & Operations Risk Testing Greater Tampa, FL Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Compliance & Operations Risk Testing to lead testing strategy across business lines and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Responsibilities include assessing control environments, identifying gaps, verifying control effectiveness, and driving remediation. The role also oversees complex testing initiatives, communicates strategies and outcomes to senior stakeholders, and supports sound decisions that strengthen compliance and operational risk management. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate a diverse team’s work. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience leading complex testing initiatives in a financial institution or similar industry. They must demonstrate success developing and implementing testing strategies aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies, along with expertise in risk management, control evaluation, and remediation. Advanced project management skills and a record of delivering results are required. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential for building senior relationships and clearly conveying testing outcomes.
