Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to help drive business expansion and lead operations from strategy development through overseas growth. Responsibilities include business and management planning, alliance development, financial and organizational management, and oversight of performance metrics. The COO will also build systems to support organizational growth, including recruitment, onboarding, and training, and lead the establishment and operation of overseas bases, including local hiring. Candidates should have management experience in a large organization or startup, including managing businesses exceeding 100 million yen and teams of at least 30 people. A proven ability to solve problems in challenging situations, a bachelor’s degree, fluent Japanese, and conversational English are required. Preferred qualifications include experience as a business unit manager or COO, P&L responsibility for businesses exceeding 1 billion yen, leadership of sales or customer service organizations of 50 or more people, and business-level English.
