Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including financial reporting, compliance, liquidity management, budgeting, and the development of the finance team. This role involves close collaboration with global finance teams and requires a strong background in senior finance or accounting leadership within multinational organizations. Key responsibilities for the Head of Finance include overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements in accordance with Japanese GAAP and IFRS, managing statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory compliance, and coordinating annual audits. The role also involves strengthening internal controls, monitoring cash flow, and establishing budgeting and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing audits, statutory filings, treasury, and tax in complex environments, and must be fluent in both Japanese and English. A background in finance or accounting leadership within multinational organizations and an understanding of Japanese GAAP and IFRS are essential, with a preference for candidates holding a valid CPA or equivalent qualification.
