Member of the Supervisory Board, Focus Area Quality & Safety

The Company is seeking a Member of the Supervisory Board with a focus on Quality and Safety. The role involves overseeing executive policy, particularly the quality, integrity, safety, and person-centeredness of specialist care, and serving on the Quality and Safety Committee to prepare matters for the full board. The member will provide system-level oversight of quality and risk management, support a strong learning and safety culture, and bring the patient perspective into governance. They will also assess care transformation, regional collaboration, digitalization, and risks to care continuity during major organizational transitions, while maintaining a clear distinction between oversight and management. Candidates should have an academic level of thinking and working, independence, sound judgment, and substantial senior leadership, governance, or supervisory experience overseeing integrated quality systems, risk management, inspections, and improvement cycles. Experience in curative healthcare is preferred; candidates with strong quality and safety expertise in other complex public or societal sectors are also encouraged. Applicants should understand patient-centered care, patient participation, psychological safety, and constructive engagement with stakeholder groups, as well as current healthcare transformation and technology developments, including responsible AI use. The role calls for a critical yet collaborative supervisory style, sufficient availability for board and committee duties, and compliance with applicable independence requirements.
