Global Head of Strategic Procurement

The Company is in search of a Global Head of Strategic Procurement to take on a pivotal role in the transformation and management of the purchasing organization on a global scale. This newly created position is dedicated to developing and implementing purchasing strategies for key categories, with a strong focus on electronics, electrical engineering, and mechanics. The successful candidate will be responsible for a multi-million-dollar purchasing budget, leading an international team, and driving initiatives related to supply security, dual sourcing, costs, and risk mitigation. The role also involves close collaboration with R&D, production, NPI, and other business functions to ensure component availability and support the introduction of new products. Key qualifications for this role include extensive experience in strategic purchasing within the international manufacturing or technology sector, particularly in the electronics industry, and a proven track record of managing a large, international purchasing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the electronic components market, be adept at building sourcing strategies, and have experience in leading organizational change and developing structures. A strategic yet hands-on approach, excellent English language skills, and the ability to support the organization during periods of dynamic growth are essential.
