Vice President of Platform Engineering

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Platform Engineering to set the strategy and lead the execution of its core service and development platforms. The role is accountable for building secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective foundations that help teams deliver and operate services with clear ownership. Responsibilities include leading multi-year engineering transformations, evolving operating models and shared platforms, and establishing standards and measurable outcomes for reliability, security, developer effectiveness, and operational performance. The VP will collaborate with senior leaders across functions, guide investment and capacity planning, and build and develop a high-performing engineering organization. Candidates should have at least 10 years of software engineering experience, including seven or more years in leadership, ideally spanning infrastructure, software services, and cybersecurity. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field is required, or equivalent experience. The role calls for a record of full-lifecycle ownership of critical platforms, operating mission-critical systems, and leading organizational transformation and high-performing teams. Strong technical and business judgment, strategic and analytical skills, operational excellence, and the ability to align senior and cross-functional stakeholders are essential.
