Head of Fertilizer Trading

The Company is seeking a Head of Fertilizer Trading to spearhead the development and expansion of its global fertilizer trading business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and growing international trading activities across a range of fertilizer products, including urea, ammonia, phosphates, DAP, MAP, NPK, potash, and related items. This role involves managing and increasing physical trading volumes in key global markets, as well as developing and nurturing relationships with producers, suppliers, distributors, and end users. The Head of Fertilizer Trading will also be tasked with defining and executing the commercial strategy, overseeing P&L performance, and identifying new trading opportunities, with a particular focus on North Africa and Latin America. Applicants for the Head of Fertilizer Trading position at the company should have a significant background in physical fertilizer trading, with a strong knowledge of nitrogen, phosphate, and/or potash markets. A proven commercial track record with demonstrable P&L responsibility is essential, as is an established network of contacts within the fertilizer market. Experience and relationships in North Africa and/or Latin America are highly desirable. The role requires a strategic thinker who can take ownership of a growing desk, drive physical trading activity, and enhance the company's presence in key international markets.
