Vice President, AI Platforms Backend Engineer Remote (anywhere in India)

The Company is in search of a visionary Java Backend Senior Developer to play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for architectural design, ensuring the robustness, scalability, and high performance of backend services and APIs. This includes a strong focus on AI integration, collaborating with data scientists and machine learning engineers to deploy AI/ML models, and designing APIs and data pipelines for real-time inferencing. The role also involves full-lifecycle development, code quality assurance, strategic collaboration with product managers and stakeholders, and driving innovation through research and prototyping. Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with 9-15 years' of professional experience in backend software development, particularly in Java. A minimum of 3 years' in a technical leadership or lead developer role is required, along with extensive experience in the Spring Framework, microservices, containerization, and orchestration. Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and Agile methodologies, and a passion for building intelligent systems. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with AI/ML models, familiarity with cloud platforms and their AI/ML services, and knowledge of MLOps principles and tools.
