Vice President, Field Development, P&C Delivery Remote (anywhere in India)

The Company is seeking a VP, Field Development, P&C Delivery to take ownership of the vision, strategy, and execution of engineering delivery across complex, high-performance, enterprise-scale projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and owning the multi-year roadmap for all P&C delivery projects, building and scaling a global engineering organization, and setting enterprise-wide delivery engineering standards. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in software engineering, including experience in senior engineering leadership roles and a proven track record of leading scaled and skilled development organizations. The VP will also be tasked with championing Agile, SAFE, and iterative delivery practices, as well as driving the adoption of AI-augmented engineering practices. Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with at least 20 years of software engineering experience, and a strong technical background in areas such as object-oriented programming, relational databases, and system design. Experience in complex, regulated enterprise software domains, particularly in insurance, financial services, or healthcare, is strongly preferred. The role demands an individual with excellent communication and executive leadership skills, capable of representing engineering strategy to senior leadership and clients. The ideal candidate will be a decisive, change-oriented leader with a readiness to be hands-on when necessary and a commitment to driving continuous improvement in engineering culture and practices.
