Head of Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Japan Operations to establish and grow its business in Japan. As a founding team member, the successful candidate will build strategic OEM relationships, develop new business, drive sales, and lead customer and contract negotiations. Responsibilities include expanding business in automated sample preparation and related analytical markets, identifying new opportunities through market trends and industry networks, managing sales activities, and preparing technical proposals for automated solutions and workflows. The role also requires close collaboration with global teams. Candidates should have experience in an international business environment and a strong customer and industry network in relevant technical markets. A bachelor’s degree in science or engineering is required, along with a background in sales, marketing, or a related field. Fluency in Japanese and business-level English are essential. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-reliant, and able to independently drive projects while collaborating with a global team; experience in OEM business, laboratory automation, automated sample preparation, or related analytical technologies is preferred.
