Managing Director, Restructuring

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to lead client engagements involving complex turnaround and restructuring situations, both in and out of court. Responsibilities include directing analytical work and evaluating restructuring alternatives, managing project plans and final deliverables, and advising on credit agreements and related negotiations. The role also involves leading presentations with senior stakeholders, maintaining client relationships, overseeing engagement quality, and developing staff. Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant restructuring or distressed experience in a professional services or consulting environment, along with hands-on experience developing or overseeing integrated financial and cash-flow models. An undergraduate degree is required; advanced degrees and relevant professional certifications are preferred. Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and project leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to make sound recommendations under tight deadlines and navigate complex stakeholder environments. The role requires adaptability and a willingness to travel and work extended hours when client needs demand.
