Executive Director, Capital Projects Remote (anywhere in Qatar)

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Capital Projects. The successful candidate will be tasked with the execution and safe, timely completion of all projects within budget and to the highest standards. This pivotal role involves the development and implementation of strategic plans to meet organizational objectives, as well as the leadership of multiple large-scale capital projects. Key responsibilities include defining project scopes, developing budgets, and establishing firm project schedules. The Executive Director will also be responsible for managing business risks, providing executive leadership in the design and implementation of systems that enhance safety and process efficiencies, and ensuring that all project management requirements are met. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field, with a Master's degree in business administration or a similar graduate degree. A minimum of 15 years of working experience, with at least 10 years in a relevant management or leadership position, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional client management, business acumen, and a deep understanding of engineering principles. Proficiency in English communication and ERP knowledge, preferably with SAP functional skills, are also essential. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in agility, resilience, and the ability to build high-performing teams, as well as a strong focus on quality, speed of execution, and cost optimization.
