Head of Asset Recovery

The Company is seeking a Head of Asset Recovery to lead the end-to-end recovery function, reduce credit losses, and improve outcomes for problem and non-performing accounts. The role includes setting recovery policies, processes, and annual plans, and overseeing cases from early arrears through legal enforcement across retail and corporate portfolios. The successful candidate will monitor portfolio performance, establish KPIs and early-warning controls, and recommend appropriate strategies for significant cases, including restructuring, settlement, write-off, or litigation. They will also manage external partners, report trends and recommendations to senior leadership and credit committees, ensure compliance, and develop the recovery team. Candidates should hold a degree in finance, banking, economics, business, law, or a related discipline, and have at least 10 years of relevant banking or financial services experience, including four or more years leading teams. A strong record of resolving complex problem and non-performing exposures is required, along with in-depth knowledge of restructuring, enforcement, provisioning, and non-performing loan management. The role calls for sound credit judgment, strong financial analysis, confident negotiation, and effective leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
