Hiring Company
About the Role
Remote (anywhere in United Kingdom)
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive to lead its mission of advancing medical education in the field of rare diseases. The successful candidate will be a key figure in the organization, working to inspire and support a talented team, and leading efforts to secure the necessary funds to support the development of a practical, funded accreditation program. This role is pivotal in shaping a medical profession that is more aware of and better equipped to provide care for individuals with rare conditions. The Chief Executive will be responsible for building strong relationships, both within the organization and with external partners, and will play a central role in advocating for the importance of rare disease education. Applicants for the Chief Executive position at the company should be enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for the mission of the organization. The role requires a warm and confident communicator who can engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including those living with rare conditions, healthcare professionals, funders, and policymakers. The ideal candidate will be a visible champion for the work of the organization, and will be instrumental in the development and implementation of a clear five-year strategy.
