About the Role
Remote (anywhere in United Kingdom)
The Company is seeking two Trustees to join its Board during a period of transition and growth. Trustees share responsibility for governance and work with the CEO to provide strategic leadership, advance the charity’s public-benefit purposes, and steward its resources responsibly. They help shape strategic direction, ensure the experiences of people served inform Board decisions, and oversee financial sustainability, investments, property, risk, performance, and impact. Trustees also contribute to effective Board practice through thoughtful preparation, collaborative decision-making, and support for Board development. Candidates should bring in-depth experience in one or more areas such as grant-making, technology and information governance, unpaid care, or investment management; senior leadership or charity Board experience is advantageous. They should demonstrate sound judgement, strategic thinking, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and an understanding of charity governance or willingness to develop it. The role requires an active Christian faith, commitment to the charity’s purpose and the dignity of those it serves, and a collaborative, inclusive approach marked by integrity, humility, and discretion.
