Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic and operational leadership, execute its long-range direction, and guide its next phase of growth and modernization. The CEO will oversee organizational performance, financial sustainability, resource allocation, and affiliated operations while advising the Board and maintaining transparent governance. Responsibilities include strengthening partnerships and external engagement, representing the profession, and supporting standards, certification, training, and workforce development. The CEO will also lead modernization initiatives, develop talent, and align teams and resources with approved priorities. Candidates should bring a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and executive experience; advanced education or relevant professional credentials are welcome. The role calls for progressive senior leadership experience and strengths in strategic execution, financial stewardship, organizational change, and talent development. Experience in an association, certification or credentialing organization, standards body, technical society, or comparable mission-driven enterprise is preferred. Candidates should understand nonprofit governance and demonstrate strong communication, judgment, integrity, and relationship-building skills, along with sufficient technical fluency to engage credibly with diverse stakeholders.
