Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead a large, distributed engineering organization responsible for mission-critical enterprise platforms. The role combines technology strategy with hands-on technical leadership, guiding modernization of high-volume, data-intensive systems while improving delivery speed, quality, reliability, and scalability. Responsibilities include setting architecture direction across cloud, microservices, APIs, data, and distributed systems; advancing practical AI adoption; and leading engineering, architecture, DevOps, quality, and release functions. The CTO will also develop engineering leaders, partner with business and product stakeholders, and communicate strategy, investment priorities, progress, and risks to executives. Candidates should have significant senior technology leadership experience and a record of leading large or complex software engineering organizations. Strong expertise in software engineering and architecture, legacy modernization, enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and distributed teams is required, along with demonstrated success improving delivery performance. Experience with Java or comparable enterprise technologies, AI applications, and regulated or transaction-intensive environments is valuable. Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to move between strategic leadership and detailed technical decisions.
