Dean of the College of Earth, Life, & Health Sciences

The Company is seeking a Dean to lead a large, interdisciplinary college focused on earth, life, and health sciences. The Dean will build on strengths in research, teaching, public engagement, and student success while advancing work on environmental sustainability, climate resilience, public health, food systems, and natural resource stewardship. Responsibilities include setting a shared strategic direction, strengthening cross-disciplinary collaboration, and advocating for the college with internal and external partners. The Dean will also develop organizational capacity, support faculty and staff, and ensure the resources and planning needed to advance the college’s priorities. The successful candidate will be a visible, collaborative, and transparent leader who can unite diverse disciplines and constituencies. They should demonstrate the ability to champion excellence in research, teaching, and service, build trust, and attract, develop, and retain talented faculty and staff. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for engaging partners across public, private, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors. The candidate should also be prepared to guide long-term planning and strengthen the college’s sustainability and impact.
