Data Engineer, Associate Vice President

The Company is seeking a Data Engineer to support the transformation of front-to-back operations and the development of centers of excellence in process re-engineering, automation, and data analytics. Responsibilities include executing operating-model strategies for key processes, including system architecture and controls, and partnering with functional teams to improve client experience, risk management, and efficiency. The role also contributes to global process change, ensuring controlled implementation with robust automated testing and appropriate resilience, audit, and regulatory standards. Candidates should have 10 or more years of financial services experience, preferably in investment banking operations, and hands-on expertise in data analysis, reusable data assets, data models, data lineage, data quality, and data modelling. Skills in SQL and tools such as Alteryx and Tableau are required, along with mandatory machine-learning experience and the ability to use AI responsibly to improve workflows and solve business problems. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology from a leading institution is an advantage. Strong communication, presentation, influencing, problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills are also required.
