Vice President for Advancement

The Company seeks a strategic, experienced Vice President for Advancement to lead its fundraising and advancement efforts during a pivotal period. The role includes launching, sustaining, and completing an ambitious fundraising campaign; leading the Advancement team; and helping identify and engage effective trustees. The Vice President will build relationships across the community, including with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and senior administrators, and articulate an overarching advancement strategy. Success will require advancing the organization’s mission while supporting its academic and artistic priorities. Candidates should bring deep expertise in major and principal gifts, a proven record of executing fundraising campaigns, and the ability to lead and develop advancement teams. The ideal candidate is strategic, collaborative, imaginative, and well organized, with a strong ability to communicate a compelling vision and engage diverse stakeholders. An authentic connection to the organization’s mission and values is also important.
