Vice President of Development

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead senior living real estate projects from initial concept through design, approvals, construction, and final delivery. Responsibilities include overseeing budgets, schedules, design development, and construction coordination while monitoring project performance, managing risks, and maintaining quality and cost targets. The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, and municipal stakeholders. The successful candidate will also advance the development strategy and foster a collaborative, accountable, service-oriented approach to project delivery. Candidates should have at least 10 years of real estate development experience, ideally leading complex projects or portfolios, and experience in senior living, continuing care communities, multifamily, hospitality, or a comparable sector. A bachelor’s degree in real estate, architecture, urban planning, or a related field is required. Strong project management, financial oversight, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with demonstrated leadership and the ability to build productive relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, as well as a service-oriented mindset, are also required.
