Executive Director, Value-Based Care Financial Operations Greater Hartford, CT Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Value-Based Care Financial Operations to lead financial operations, reporting, accrual governance, provider economics, and payment administration across value-based care programs. The role oversees forecasting, reconciliations, provider settlements, incentive payments, and financial performance measurement, ensuring processes are accurate, controlled, and scalable. The executive will guide payment operations and risk adjustment analyses, maintain governance for provider attribution and alignment methodologies, and communicate financial risks and opportunities to senior leadership. This leader will also partner across finance, operations, network, actuarial, analytics, and technology teams, while developing talent and influencing enterprise strategy. Candidates must have at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare finance, provider economics, value-based care, managed care, actuarial support, analytics, or a related field, including at least five years leading managers and professional teams. Required expertise includes financial reporting, accruals, forecasting, reconciliation, performance measurement, Medicare Advantage financial drivers, provider reimbursement, risk adjustment, and value-based payment models. Applicants should have experience leading cross-functional initiatives, designing scalable processes and governance, influencing executive decisions, and supporting audit and compliance controls. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, healthcare administration, analytics, actuarial science, or a related field is required; a relevant master’s degree and professional designation are preferred.
