Managing Director, Impact Assurance

The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Impact Assurance, to ensure enterprise transformation investments deliver measurable, validated, and sustainable outcomes. The role will establish and govern impact-measurement standards, independently challenge business cases, validate benefits, and track results against agreed baselines and targets. It will advise senior governance bodies on portfolio value, investment trade-offs, and corrective actions, while identifying value leakage and escalating at-risk outcomes. The Managing Director will also lead a compact assurance team and strengthen analytics and reporting capabilities, including through automation and AI-enabled insights. Candidates should bring substantial leadership experience in value realization, transformation assurance, portfolio governance, performance management, finance transformation, or strategy execution, ideally in financial services or another highly regulated industry. They need a proven record of building enterprise frameworks and deep expertise in business-case review, benefits realization, financial analysis, productivity measurement, and investment decision support. Strong financial planning and forecasting knowledge, executive communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to challenge assumptions while maintaining trusted relationships are essential. A player-coach leadership approach and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience are required; an advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
