Head of Data

The Company is seeking its first Head of Data to establish and lead its data function and deliver the data elements of its long-term strategy. Responsibilities include developing data architecture, shared data models, and integration across core systems, while establishing strong governance and quality standards to create a trusted view of organizational data. The role will build data capability across the organization, establish a centre of excellence, and grow a dedicated team. Working with senior leaders and external partners, the Head of Data will strengthen evidence-based decision-making and prepare for responsible AI, automation, and advanced analytics. Candidates should have a track record of delivering data strategies and leading change that improves data culture and maturity, alongside significant experience in data architecture, integration, and shared data models. Required expertise includes data governance, quality, master data management, privacy, ethical AI, analytics pipelines, reporting, and data visualization. Technical experience with data warehouse or lakehouse platforms is expected, and experience with Microsoft or Salesforce technologies is advantageous. The role also calls for experience working with external technical partners, clear communication skills, and the ability to bring colleagues along through change; experience in a resource-conscious organization is desirable.
