Head of PMO

The Company is seeking a Head of PMO to establish and lead a modern portfolio management function. The role will set the PMO’s operating model and priorities, strengthen governance and project controls, and provide senior leaders with clear insight into portfolio health, risks, capacity, dependencies, and forecasts. Responsibilities include developing the PMO team, improving resource planning and commercial forecasting, and embedding effective approaches to assurance, change control, and escalation. Working across delivery, finance, professional services, and commercial teams, the Head of PMO will turn fragmented information into reliable management insight and drive continuous improvement. Candidates should have significant experience leading a PMO, portfolio office, project controls, or professional services operations function, including a record of developing teams and improving PMO practices. Strong knowledge of portfolio governance, delivery methodologies, reporting, assurance, resource planning, capacity management, and forecasting is required. Applicants should be confident presenting risks and recommendations to senior leaders and have commercial awareness of customer implementations, billable delivery, and revenue forecasting. Experience in technology, healthcare technology, software, or professional services environments is valuable, along with strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
