Head of Practice Strategy & Operations

The role partners with senior leaders to develop business plans and budgets, assess financial and people performance, and lead strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include managing an operational team, improving processes, coordinating business services with fee earners, and resolving complex operational issues. The successful candidate will also support business development, talent planning, collaboration, and initiatives to strengthen profitability and efficiency. Candidates should have proven leadership experience in a law firm or professional services environment, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. A track record of delivering operational transformation and strategic initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations is required. Applicants should be financially literate, with experience managing budgets and monitoring performance against KPIs.
