Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis Greater Long Beach, CA Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis to provide strategic financial guidance to executive leaders and affiliated physicians. The role leads financial and operational analysis, develops performance metrics, and oversees business intelligence, growth initiative tracking, and FP&A processes. Responsibilities include managing analysts and reporting dashboards; preparing productivity, revenue, labor, and business trend analyses; and developing financial models and leadership presentations. The VP also leads budgeting, forecasting, operating plans, and investment-return analyses, while evaluating results against business strategies and recommending actions to improve performance. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; an MBA is preferred. At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance, financial analysis, or strategic planning is required, including healthcare finance experience. The role calls for expertise with financial systems, forecasting, modeling, analysis, and budgeting tools, along with advanced Microsoft Office and SQL skills. Strong analytical and communication abilities are essential, as is the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and work effectively with clinical and executive stakeholders.
