Vice President, Rates Trading Greater Manila, Philippines Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Rates Trading to lead and grow its Rates Desk, oversee market-making, and deliver against profitability and strategic objectives. Responsibilities include trading government securities, interest rate and cross-currency swaps, and sovereign and corporate fixed-income products; managing positions within approved mandates and risk limits; and identifying market opportunities and hedging solutions. The role also involves developing fixed-income and derivatives solutions for clients, partnering with sales and other stakeholders, maintaining market intelligence, and building industry relationships. The successful candidate will provide backup support for foreign exchange and FX swaps trading when needed. Candidates should have significant rates-trading experience at a bank or financial institution and strong expertise in government bonds, fixed-income products, interest-rate derivatives, and cross-currency swaps. They must demonstrate sound risk management, knowledge of regulatory obligations, commercial acumen, and a record of generating trading revenue and delivering client solutions. A deep understanding of local and global financial markets, excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, and high ethical standards are essential. The role requires the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated trading environment.
