President

The Company is seeking a President to lead an established, multi-location specialty food business with retail market, bakery, prepared foods, and in-house production operations. The President will oversee strategy, operations, and financial performance while guiding the business through an ownership transition and preserving its culture and reputation. Responsibilities include standardizing operations across locations, developing managers, connecting business systems, and using data to guide decisions. The role also covers purchasing, vendors, inventory, pricing, labor, marketing, customer growth, financial planning, employee development, and community relationships. Candidates should bring deep expertise in retail food operations, including fresh departments, food safety, merchandising, and shrink, along with experience managing integrated food concepts and multiple locations. Strong leadership skills are needed to develop large teams and managers, build trust during a business transition, and communicate clearly. Applicants should be comfortable evaluating business systems and using operational and financial data, with sound P&L, margin, and labor management skills. A hands-on, resourceful approach, coaching ability, adaptability, and collaborative mindset are important.
