Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Commercial Growth & Business Development, Engineering & Technical Training

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead a technical training institution as a commercially sustainable, industry-aligned centre for advanced manufacturing and engineering skills. The CEO will translate board strategy into plans, budgets, and measurable execution; grow enrolment and revenue; and oversee training quality, learner outcomes, partnerships, operations, and compliance. Responsibilities include building relationships with industry, government, and education stakeholders, meeting financial and operational targets, safeguarding assets, and ensuring the safe and effective use of equipment and facilities. The role also requires building a high-performing team and providing timely performance reporting. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, education management, or a related field, and have at least 10 years of progressive experience, including five years in senior leadership with responsibility for budgets, people, and organizational performance. Demonstrated success growing revenue or developing a sustainable training, technology, or industrial-services operation is required, along with working knowledge of technical education, workforce development, manufacturing, or related markets. Strong financial literacy, communication, negotiation, partnership development, and stakeholder-management skills are essential. A master’s degree, relevant technical background, and experience with technical training, accreditation, CNC, automation, or industrial technology are preferred.
