Associate Vice President, Data Science Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Data Science to lead the delivery and enterprise adoption of data science, machine learning, and generative AI solutions. The role oversees applied data science and enterprise AI capabilities, guiding solutions from problem definition and experimentation through production deployment, adoption, and performance monitoring. The leader will partner with business and regional stakeholders to prioritize high-impact use cases, build reusable AI capabilities, and scale effective solutions across the organization. Responsibilities also include advancing MLOps practices, promoting model and data reuse, ensuring responsible AI governance, and leading and developing a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience delivering data science, machine learning, and AI solutions, with expert-level skills in statistical modeling, machine learning, and generative AI. Experience with MLOps or AIOps, cloud machine learning platforms, model lifecycle management, and scaling solutions from pilot to production is required, along with at least four years of people leadership. Strong product judgment, stakeholder influence, and communication skills are essential. A degree in a quantitative or technical field is required, and a master’s degree is preferred; experience with model governance or AI in a regulated industry is an advantage.
