Chief of Staff, R&D & Operational Excellence

The Company is seeking a Director of R&D Chief of Staff and Operational Excellence to advise senior R&D leaders and support delivery of strategic priorities. The role drives leadership team effectiveness through disciplined planning, meeting facilitation, executive communication, and follow-through on decisions. Responsibilities include monitoring strategic progress, technical readiness, risks, and dependencies; diagnosing delivery gaps; and coordinating corrective actions with accountable owners. The Director also prepares leadership briefings, brings external market insights into planning, supports organizational alignment, and coordinates priority initiatives across a global matrix. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science and experience in consumer goods and/or R&D. A minimum of 8–10 years of business experience, including leading complex initiatives in a global matrix organization, is required. The role calls for director-level influence, strong analytical judgment and business insight, and the ability to interpret market intelligence and identify organizational or delivery gaps. Executive presence, discretion, clear communication, and sound stakeholder judgment are essential.
