Board Member

The Company is seeking a Board Member to serve as a trustee, accept fiduciary responsibility, and help set organizational policy. Responsibilities include establishing goals, approving policies, budgets, and financial statements, and overseeing committees and bylaws. Board members may also contribute through officer roles or committee work, such as researching grants, identifying funding and partnership opportunities, or developing financial education materials and training. The role includes regular board meetings and occasional additional committee or email-vote participation. The Company is looking for candidates committed to financial literacy for small businesses and nonprofits. Relevant experience may include finance, accounting, law, fundraising, communications, or leadership in a small business or nonprofit; prior board experience is not required. Candidates should support a board that reflects the diversity of the communities it serves. New members must complete a conflict-of-interest disclosure before joining.
