Vice President of Logistics

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Logistics to develop and execute logistics and distribution strategy across its operations. The role leads the safe, reliable, and cost-effective movement of inbound materials, intercompany freight, and finished goods. Responsibilities span fleet operations, third-party transportation, rail, freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, freight procurement, transportation technology, and performance management. The Vice President will negotiate major logistics agreements, optimize networks and processes, and use data and KPIs to improve safety, service, productivity, and cost. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressive logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain leadership experience, including seven years in senior leadership within a complex, multi-site operating environment. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree and relevant professional certifications are preferred. The role calls for broad expertise across transportation modes, fleet and third-party providers, international logistics, contract negotiations, financial management, and logistics technology. Strong analytical, communication, and change-leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to turn complex data into operational decisions and measurable business improvements.
