Vice President of Finance Greater Rochester, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to strengthen its financial infrastructure and support growth, acquisitions, and operational performance. The role leads acquisition finance from target evaluation and due diligence through closing and post-merger integration, while overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, liquidity, working capital, debt, and lender relationships. The Vice President will advise executive leadership, the Board, and investors, provide analysis to guide strategic decisions, and establish scalable financial processes, controls, and reporting across the organization. The position also involves building and developing a high-performing finance team and partnering with business leaders to improve profitability, cash flow, and financial accountability. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field; an MBA, CPA, CFA, or comparable advanced credential is preferred. At least 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience is required, including experience in a private-equity-backed organization and a record of leading acquisitions and integration. Applicants should bring expertise in financial modeling, valuation, transaction structures, due diligence, FP&A, treasury, debt management, and GAAP reporting. Strong leadership, advanced Excel and modeling skills, and experience with ERP, planning, consolidation, and business intelligence systems are also required.
