Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance operations across a parent company and an international subsidiary. Responsibilities include closing the books, preparing reconciliations and financial statements, managing spending controls and payment processes, and overseeing tax compliance, filings, credits, transfer pricing, and audits across jurisdictions. The CFO will support digital product launch finance, including revenue reporting, indirect taxes, and multi-currency sales, while modeling infrastructure costs and negotiating vendor and long-term contracts. The role also includes identifying, evaluating, and completing strategic acquisitions. The ideal candidate has previously led finance at a startup and has experience building financial models for multiple entities, international operations, or significant infrastructure spending. Strong accounting, financial planning, tax, compliance, and transaction skills are required, along with the ability to manage finance independently in a lean organization. A genuine interest in anime and video games is important, as is understanding the audiences for this type of media.
