Member of the Supervisory Board, Mortgage Market

The Company is seeking an experienced member of its Supervisory Board to oversee strategy, policy, risk management, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, while advising the Management Board. The role includes reviewing annual accounts, budgets, and plans, and advising on board appointments and evaluations. The successful candidate will help guide strategic priorities and balance innovation, security, operational feasibility, and cost. They will also bring an independent perspective to the organization’s development and represent the interests of its cooperative and members. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of financial services, particularly the Dutch mortgage market and mortgage chain, along with experience in governance and supervising complex organizations. Relevant expertise may include mortgage products and services, SME finance, accounting, business economics, financial reporting, or organizational development and change management. A strong sector network and familiarity with cooperatives or complex stakeholder organizations are valued. The ideal candidate is strategic, future-oriented, authentic, collaborative, and able to offer constructive challenge with sound judgment.
