Vice President Controller

The Company is seeking a Vice President Controller to lead financial reporting, treasury, lender relationships, and tax compliance across a multi-entity organization. Responsibilities include managing construction loan draws, lender reporting, covenant monitoring, cash-flow forecasting, and financing models for development opportunities. The role also oversees project accounting, budgeting, tax filings, intercompany accounting, and corporate governance matters. The successful candidate will develop the accounting team and improve financial processes, documentation, and automation. Candidates must hold a CPA designation and have senior finance experience in residential development, home building, or construction. Required expertise includes construction lending, debt financing, project accounting and job costing, financial modeling, cash-flow forecasting, and multi-entity reporting under ASPE. Experience with GST/HST compliance, QuickBooks, and Excel is also required. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader comfortable working in a small or mid-sized, owner-led environment; cross-border tax, limited partnership reporting, and finance automation experience are assets.
